Love and Art in Balance

Meet Your Photographer

"My job is to bring you together in a space where you’re able to show your love, not just to each other, but to the camera as well. I know, sounds crazy, but that’s how I pack all this raw emotion into my images: by creating a space where you feel safety and togetherness."

This is GreyFox Bridal, a space for love in all its forms. Your album is more than a collection of images, it's a celebration of a time in your life. We facilitate in that celebration, its permanence in digital & printed media, and in its presentation to you and those you love. The driving force behind our process is something we call "maximum emotional impact".
Our Story
Before I became a photographer I was a jewelry designer. I produced thousands of pieces, presented work on the runway with some notable designers, and I set up my little tent at shows all across the state of Florida.
My roots are in fashion, product photography, and fine art. My history as an artist is reflected in the style of my work.
In 2020, after seven years working as a freelance photographer, I set out to find meaning in the work I was doing. I wanted to create a brand based on real, interpersonal connectedness backed by a lifetime of camera experience. Grey Fox was wedding photography, yes, but video too, and incorporated my signature editorial fashion style into the packages I offer today.
And now, Grey Fox is here in Texas.
Our Process and Commitment
Real Connection
Let's face it. The wedding industry is full of dime-a-dozen photographers shooting rigid photos devoid of emotion. It's not easy being in front of the camera; you wonder what to do with your hands, how to stand, where to look. The problem with overly posed shooting is that you miss the moment itself. Your photo session becomes a chore, your face gets tired of holding that fake smile, and by the end of it you haven't made memories, you've just followed the photographer's posing instructions. Worst of all, the photos look overly posed, rigid, and lacking in authenticity.
That's just not the Grey Fox way.
We focus on experiences and make minor adjustments as we go. Our job is to create a space where you're feeling incredibly close to your partner, where something REAL is happening between the two of you. Let's face it, we aren't always as close as we can be in our relationships. There are brief moments where we feel that closeness, but we're not always 'there' because we can't be all the time. We have work, responsibilities, distractions. It's our job to bring you back to that place of togetherness, to foster a space where your love can come out and shine.
In moments like that, all you're thinking about is your partner- the rest of the world disappears.
That's the photo we're looking for.
How do we achieve this? Well, first off, we're a low-volume, boutique studio- we're not here to get every wedding in the market. That means that we really get to know each other, and that you get a lot more personal connection than couples who choose high volume studios. You also get to work with the same photographer from start to finish. I'm there for your consultation, your engagement session,

REDO ARTISTIC ABILITY SECTION AND TALK ABOUT MOM INTERACTING WITH BRIDE STORY
\mom working really hard to make sure day is going well, get distracted from having moments with bride. I invite her to join me for a moment with bride that turns out to be important to them both.
This paragraph goes on for quite a while so here's some other text to fill in the space because I feel like fucking with photos right now instead of writing:They should also use interpersonal exercises, guided meditations, or any other one-on-one approach that helps you achieve real emotion during our sessions, and that makes a real difference. By doing this, when you look through your wedding album years down the line, you won't only remember striking poses—you will remember an experience that touched your heart and enriched your life... forever.
(ADD BEGINNING FROM ORIGINAL TEXT)As a bride, having the right photographer to capture your special day is more important than just finding someone with technical prowess. At its core, photography is an art that strives to capture love and emotion – and this is something only a seasoned photographer can do. To ensure beautiful photos that bring you back to that day in vivid emotion years later, look for someone who appreciates the value of human interaction and storytelling. Photographers should be able to create a safe space for couples to feel comfortable expressing their emotions in front of the camera. They should also use interpersonal exercises, guided meditations, or any other one-on-one approach that helps them achieve real emotion in their images. By doing this, when you look through your wedding album years down the line, you won't only remember striking poses—you will remember an experience that touched your heart and enriched your life forever.
But photographing love isn't all about technical prowess and skill. Those are important aspects to look for in a seasoned photographer, but something that often gets lost along the way for the pro's is an appreciation for human interaction and storytelling. It's capturing moments as they happen, yes, but as photographers we can facilitate in making those moments happen by bringing you to a space where it's safe to be emotionally vulnerable. You aren't always in that emotional space with the people in your life because, well, you can't be. There's work, distractions, all the problems of the world. But with our process, you get to leave all that behind for a while.
Technical skill is crucial in all areas of photography, but when you photograph love there's another aspect that's sometimes overlooked: emotion. At Grey Fox, we use interpersonal exercises, guided meditations, and a one-on-one approach to achieve real emotion in our images. This way when you view your album in a year, or twenty years, you don't remember striking poses- you remember an experience that touches you heart and enriches your life... forever.
It's nearly impossible to be worried about 'what do I do with my hands' when you're wrapped up in a moment with someone you love.
Your wedding, your vibe
You're looking for an aesthetic. You want to vibe with your photographer's work. There's a lot that goes into an album's look and feel, but a great deal of your album's aesthetic is purely dependent upon something called color grading, which happens in post production(editing).
Because we're a low-volume studio we're able to work more closely with our clients. In order to make an album cohesive, photographers use something called 'presets' which set the mood and give your album a certain look. Some studios use ready-made presets they buy online. Bobby Foxx Photography uses a collection of over 500 hand crafted, original presets reiterated over the course of ten years, and our team lead is constantly generating new ones. That's why our photos are so unique. We're not using other photographer's work to style our own. Every aspect of image production is unique to our brand.
What's more, you get to be part of that process in choosing your base preset, which determines the look and feel of your entire album. During our consultation, we get to know you and what aesthetic you're looking for, and before your images are edited, we send out a contact sheet with a collection of sample images we think you'll love to see what aesthetic you vibe with. It's a highly personalized process you won't find anywhere else.

{I was partly raised by artists, my grandfather a stock photographer with images in the national geographic, and my grandmother a prolific painter who also produced stained glass in Key West in the 50's. I studied art for seven years in college where I launched a fashion accessories brand, and after nearly a decade of working as a photographer I began to establish a process for producing fine art photography in portraiture. Today, this is my signature style.}. REDACTED
